  • Part C consists of structured questions.
The questions only require knowledge of general secondary school physics syllabus.
Mechanics: Kinematics, Dynamics, Statics, Conservation Laws, Oscillations and Waves, Fluid Mechanics Thermodynamics: Thermal Physics, Ideal Gas
Electromagnetism: Electrostatics, Circuits, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction
Light and Optics: Electromagnetic Waves, Geometric Optics
Modern Physics: Quantum Physics, Relativity, Nuclear Physics
To allow equal opportunities for all secondary school students most questions are designed by putting emphasis on the application of core concepts and logical and analytical thinking rather than knowledge alone. Sufficient guidance will be included in the questions covering advanced topics.
