The event lasted from May 3, 2017 to May 8, 2017. On the first day, we were welcomed by a committee and then transferred to our rooms at Hilton Americas Houston Hotel. The next day the Olympiad started with an exciting opening ceremony which was marked by a powerful, motivational speech by Smarnav Pujari, who was an I-SWEEEP 2015 finalist and gold medal winner. The exciting event continued with students welcoming the public and the judges and expounding on their projects ardently, visits to Natural Science Museums and NASA Space Center and culminated with a nerve-racking awards ceremony. Our students who are Szu Myat Mon, Khin Phone Wai, Roman, Chan Myae Aung participated in I-SWEEEP Olympiad. Our students were there to represent Myanmar and made us proud by achieving “Honorable Mention” among 500 ambitious projects.

We would like to congratulate our student and teachers on their outstanding achievement and successful representation of Myanmar among world countries.
